Japan-U.S.-Canada Multilateral Exercise NOBLE RAVEN 22-2

The Indo-Pacific Deployment 2022 (IPD22) unit, JS IZUMO and JS TAKANAMI conducted a
trilateral exercise “NOBLE RAVEN22-2” with the U.S. Navy (USN) and the Royal Canadian Navy (RCN) in order to strengthen cooperation and to realize a “Free and Open Indo-Pacific” as described below.

1. Objectives
(1) To improve the JMSDF’s tactical capabilities
(2) To strengthen cooperation among the JMSDF, the USN and the RCN
