Founded in 1956 by Captain Borromee Verreault, this shipyard specializing in ship repair and transformation occupies a prominent place in the Quebec and Canadian maritime sector. With this acquisition, Ocean Group has just increased its capacity and expertise to meet the needs of its customers.

This new acquisition will allow Ocean Group to pursue its growth plan, which is essentially based on the expansion of its activities and its service offer in order to position itself favorably for larger-scale projects, in particular those arising from the National Strategy. of shipbuilding (SNCN) with the federal government.

It should be noted that Ocean Group has solid expertise in carrying out large-scale projects, in particular due to the major construction contract for four large tugs for the Canadian national defense, which will put the company in a better position than enviable for obtaining new contracts in shipbuilding and ship repair.
