The Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN) ship, KD Gagah Samudera successfully conducted a Passage Exercise (PASSEX) with the Canadian Navy ship, HMCS Montreal, in the waters of the Straits of Malacca on June 3, 2024.
This exercise aims to enhance the cooperation and interoperability of the two naval forces, which is crucial for future joint operations. It also provides valuable training experience and enhances the readiness for both navies.
Additionally, this PASSEX reinforces diplomatic and military relations between Malaysia and Canada, fostering deeper trust and understanding.
