Who are members of NRAC?

Any active or retired member of the Canadian Naval Reserve can join the Association. The Association has several categories of membership:

Ordinary members – are dues paying. This is the only category of member that may hold office and is entitled to vote in committees and at the Annual General Meeting.

Passive members – are active or retired members of the Canadian Naval Reserve who wish to be connected to the Association and to receive periodic mailings, but who choose not to be actively engaged in the affairs of the Association.

Associate members – are others who support the mission of the Association, who wish to be connected to the Association and to receive periodic mailings. On payment of dues, they would become Ordinary members.

Honorary members – are those who have been recognized by the Association for exemplary service to the Navy. Honorary members have all the rights and privileges of Ordinary members, but pay no dues for life.

Only Ordinary Members pay dues. It is up to the individual to choose which category of membership best suits their needs. Our Naval Reserve service epitomizes citizenship and contributes to our collective memories of character-building experiences; you can show your support for the Association by choosing to be an Ordinary Member. The schedule of dues is very modest, as follows:

1 Year – $25.00 | 2 Years – $47.50 | 3 Years – $70.00

Payment can be made in 2 ways:

1. Email the appropriate amount to Treasurer@NavalReserveAssociationofCanada.ca OR

2. Send a cheque payable to the Naval Reserve Association of Canada care of:
