HMCS) Ville de Quebec returned to Halifax November 10 having completed a seven-month deployment to the Indo-Pacific region with the Royal Navy CSG25.
From the North Atlantic to the Mediterranean, through the Red Sea, into the Indo-Pacific, and back to North America, HMCS Ville de Quebec worked in unison with allies and partners, bolstering Canada’s relationships in the Indo-Pacific region.
HMCS Ville de Quebec began its deployment under associated support to NATO on Operation REASSURANCE in April. The ship then joined the United Kingdom-led Carrier Strike Group 25, which sailed from the United Kingdom, through the Mediterranean Sea, and into the Indo-Pacific as part of the United Kingdom’s Operation HIGHMAST. Due to lack of defense against ballistic missile attack in the Red Sea, Ville de Quebec travelled across the Indo-Pacific to the Panama Canal.
