Operation NANOOK–NUNAKPUT is one of the Canadian Armed Forces’ recurring Arctic sovereignty and security exercises, held annually in the western and central Arctic (mainly along the Mackenzie River, Beaufort Sea, and Arctic Ocean approaches). It’s a regional spin-off of Operation NANOOK, Canada’s overarching northern exercise framework.
